How to think like a deer, I found they are smarter than you might think.
Over a hundred more topics every hunter should know about and use.
If you are a bowhunter you will be especially interested in one of the 5 bonuses
The Pope and Young Club, a spin off from the National Field Archery Association's was founded in 1961 by Dr. Saxton Pope and Arthur Young as a nonprofit bowhunting and conservation organization.
They realized bowhunting needed an improved image even though as the club points out that "The bow has fed and nourished generation after generation for almost all of the past 50,000 years" and that it might even be the third most important discovery which made possible the continued survival of mankind, right after Fire and Speech.
Through nurturing all bowhunting not just whitetail deer and promoting conservation (they patterned it after the existing prestigious Boone and Crockett Club) the P&Y Club has lifted bowhunting from an almost forgotten hunting method to the great standing it enjoys today..
The Pope and Young Club promotes values applying not only whitetail deer hunting but bowhunting values of:
- Challenge
- Simplicity
- Primitive
- Discipline
- Patience
- Practice
- Perseverance
- Skill
- Outdoorsmanship
- Craftsmanship
Dr. Pope, along the way, wrote a book entitled "Hunting With the Bow and Arrow" which is one of the five free bonuses offered by outdoorsman Joe Pineland along with his all encompassing book (discussed above) "Deer Hunting Secrets".
