Four Leg Elevated Box Blind Plans
Many people are asking for the plans for the tower type deer stand
that I promised. Here it is, the steel structure and
ladder and wooden box blind. Click on the thumbnail
picture for a full sized (81/2" X 11") clear .pdf of the drawings and brief instructions and suggestions.
Printable Bulls Eye Target
If you want to save some money while practicing with your
handgun, bow or sighting in your rifle print out the bulls eye target on your own printer. If
you want more rigidity than common paper (20#) get some heavier paper, 24# 24#
makes a difference and will feed just like copy paper on most printers. If
you can hand feed through your machine even heavier board might feed. If not,
and you want more stiffness, make a regular copy and take it to Staples, Office
Depot, Office Max or other office supply, they can make copies on heavy board
even in colors and it will be cheaper than buying targets from a gun shop.
Hunting Cabin Plans
Click on the thumbnail to download and print a drawing for
a simple Hunting Cabin. There is no drawing for the foundation or floor. I
will try to get something up on that also. The foundation can be as simple as 6"
X 6" pressure treated timbers cemented into holes spaced on a 6ft grid with two
2" X 10"' stringer bolted to them on each side and tie together with floor
joists of the same size spaced at 2ft centers. I used salvaged railroad ties for
piling - these getting harder and harder to find. Also, concrete foundation
blocks are easily found, talk to a local building supply or carpenter for
the minimum needed.
TrailEyesTM trail camera and hunter warning
pager.
The TrailEyesTM
system consists of up to six separate remote sensors each with their own radio
transmitter. When motion is sensed by an animal or human a signal is
transmitted to remote devices such as one or more camera's or to
a hunter worn six channel pager receiver containing up to six LED lights which
light up when their respective trail sensor transmitter signal is received. In
case the hunter is not watching for the lights a pager vibrator also activates
to get his attention. Click on the thumbnail to access these plans, material
lists, catalog numbers and detailed instructions.
